The performance of the Dave Matthew band at the Obama rally stands cancelled and the details are not given out. Last month it was announced that the Dave Matthews band is going to perform in the rally for Barack Obama in Ohio University on 2nd March. The announcement of this program was made at the student Senate meeting of Ohio University by the Vice President of the Student body. The Senators were assembled there for the impeachment of the Vice President. It has been reported that Kent Smith, the Vice President of the student body made an announcement about the rally and the performance by Dave Matthews before his impeachment. However, he said that the contract is not yet signed by the university members and the production company in Chicago.
The rally which was to be held at the Convocation Center of Ohio University got cancelled due to unknown reason. It was already announced that Obama will not be present for this rally. The program boasted about the presence of Dave Matthews’s band as well as the presence of a prominent speaker. Dave Matthews gave his last performance in a college in the November of 2007 at the Military Academy of U.S. The Obama Rally itself has been officially cancelled now, to the disappointment of the Dave fans.
