The Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s sell out crowd were treated to some rocking and breathtaking music by the ever popular rock band group Dave Matthews Band last Friday night. The mood of the fans at the SPAC concert was upbeat right from the start and it got even better with every song that the DMB performed. The jam packed music center swayed and sometimes even sang along with the band. Some of the favorite DMB songs like “Everyday”, “Bartender”, “Satellite” and “Proudest Monkey” were all performed with zest and zeal by the front man Dave Matthews and his band members. The popularity that each and every concert is gathering will stand good for the sale of tickets for the rest of the summer tour.

The Dave Matthews Band is known for its exquisite concert shows and the concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center also lived up to the expectations of the near capacity crowd, who had braved the downpour to enjoy an evening of music and only music. The harmony among the band members was clearly visible during the live performance at the Darien Lake last Tuesday night. The front man of the DMB group, Dave Matthews, was in his humor self and entertained the audience with his chirpy dialogues and soulful songs. There are more concerts left in the DMB summer tour and going by the performance that the band has showcased so far, there is no doubt that most of the forthcoming shows will run short of tickets.

The Dave Matthews Band fans have been surprised by the group in each and every show of their long summer tour so far as the band comes up with different cover songs for each of their concert performances. The DMB are currently touring North America and since they do not have a new studio album to support their tour, the band is promoting their older songs. Dave Matthews and his band members might have put a very serious thought into the listing of the songs and some tracks like Bitch and Money that has so far not been touched by DMB in their previous tour ventures are currently being showcased this summer. There are a few more tickets that are available for the Dave Matthews Band summer tour concerts in certain cities.

The rain gods showered praises of water droplets and applauded the performance of the Dave Matthews Band at Detroit’s DTE Energy Music Center with thunderous applauses and lightning last Monday night. The entire two hour and forty five minute gig by the DMB was played in the rain, but that did not dampen the spirits of the performers or the fans who had gathered in large numbers to enjoy the musical extravaganza.  The near sell out crowd at Detroit were treated to some scintillating music that also featured long time friend Tim Reynolds in their group and the band played songs like “You Might Die Trying”, “Two Step” and “Corn Bread”. There are few more tickets left in some of the concert centers of the DMB’s summer tour for the die hard DMB fans.

The veteran, yet versatile Dave Matthews Band kick started their annual summer tour last Friday at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Pavilion and his hard core fans were thrilled to bits when Dave Matthews greeted them. The DMB performed about 20 of their selected songs in front of a sell out audience and every one who attended the evening were spell bound with the charisma and finesse that the entire band still possesses. The news of a bright beginning and of course the popularity of the DMB will augur well for the ticket sales for the forthcoming concert centers as well. I am going to see them in California.  I bought my DMB tickets yesterday and cant wait to go.
