Dave Matthews Band and Reverb has been jointly trying to encourage the fans to be aware of the importance of preserving nature and preventing pollution. During last year’s tour of DMB, Reverb helped the Dave Matthew fans to reduce CO2 pollution considerably by the use of bio-diesel. The DMB had two main goals last year, one was to avoid environmental destruction by the fans during the shows and to give the message that each and every person can do something good to preserve nature and also can have fun while practicing it. The shows of DMB will occur in Eco-Villages that promote re-cycling of goods.

This year’s shows will have online car-pooling facility to reduce traffic to the shows as well as a method to reduce fuel consumption. Reduced fuel consumption will automatically reduce carbon emission to the atmosphere. Reverb is planning for an Eco-Footprint reduction competition to encourage fans to reduce eco-footprints. Carpooling provides other benefits like the chance to meet new people and reduces cases of drunken driving. DMB and Reverb is creating a good path for other bands to follow. Laura Sullivan, the co-founder of Reverb is confident of the positive outcome of their new initiative called car-pooling as the fans are really committed to preserving nature.

The Dave Matthews Band has signed to be the music band to play in the first concert hosted by the Busch stadium this summer. The concert is to be held at the Busch stadium on June 7 is expected to be a huge concert as more than 30,000 fans are anticipated to witness the concert. The fact that the first concert at the new Ballpark is to feature the most popular band group Dave Matthews Band itself might have calmed down the nerves of the organizers as they can be pretty much sure that the popularity of the DMB will definitely pull in a large crowd to the concert.

The St. Louis Cardinals President Mark Lamping says that the new Busch stadium was built keeping in mind the vision to bring the best concert facilities and rates it as the best among the best. The former Busch Stadium has hosted several musical personalities and icons for the past four decades and the artists who have graced the stadium before include Elton John, The Beatles, Billy Joel, REO Speedwagon and The Rolling Stones. Live Nation has taken the task of producing the DMB concert and this is the band’s only performance in Missouri this summer.

The Dave Matthews Band fans might have had a pretty good weekend last week as they had twin reasons to cheer about, one reason is that the summer tour of the Dave Matthews Band has been announced and the other being that the new album that the Dave Matthews Band is releasing is to be produced by Warner bros producer and A&R, Ron Cavallo. There is no doubt that Ron Cavallo is an accomplished producer and the works like Dookie, Greenway’s number one album; American Idiot, their recent album; Dizzy up The Girl by Goo Goo Doll and My Chemical Romance’s Black Parade are testimony that the Dave Matthews Band has made the right choice of putting Ron as the producer for their forthcoming album.

Ron Cavallo will be working closely with the Dave Matthews Band to make it one of the most successful albums and says that he wants to rock and have a ball while making the album. Ron is trying to bring in new sounds into the album which has not been seen or heard in the DMB’s albums earlier and will tell the band straight at their face, if he feels that it is not right somewhere. Tim Reynolds, long time collaborator of the DMB will also be putting his mind and soul for this new album.
